Wrap With Attitude
Gus was a fire marshal for thirty years, which means he has opinions about candles, space heaters and anyone who says "it will be fine." He did not expect to find his fears printed on wrapping paper. This roll is covered in bright red houses with glowing yellow windows, pale green pines drifting between them, set against clean white. Every single house was lit, and not one of them, Gus noticed, was on fire.
He needed the paper for a gift, a smoke alarm for his niece's first apartment, and it was the first time in his career that the packaging looked more reassuring than the contents. He counted the windows. He counted the chimneys. He called his wife in to confirm there were no candles on the sills. "Honey, they are drawings," she said. "Drawings need exits too," said Gus. He wrapped the box with the biggest red house on top and wrote on the tag, in all caps, TEST ME MONTHLY.
His niece opened the present and laughed until she cried. Then she put the smoke alarm on the ceiling, hung the leftover paper on her fridge and sent a photo captioned MY UNCLE'S IDEA OF ROMANCE. Gus considers this a complete success. If you are looking for a bold, cheerful roll, bright red houses, yellow windows and pale green pines on white, with the visual warmth of a very safe winter evening, this is the one to grab. It makes every gift look like a cozy village, and every cozy village looks like it passed inspection. Gus checks the windows every year, just to be sure.
Gift Wrap Details
Bright red houses with tiny yellow windows line up on a clean white sheet, with pale green pines dotted between them like quiet neighbors. The colors are loud in the best way: wrap a lumpy box and it comes out looking like a toy village. The red does most of the decorating, so keep the ribbon simple. White or kraft twine works, and a green bow makes the pines look taller. Center a single house on the front for the cleanest look. Lights in every window mean the box already looks like somebody is home and waiting.
Gift Ideas
A first-apartment toolkit for the niece who thinks a stud finder is a dating app. A tin of cookies for the fire station down the block, since nobody there has ever refused a cookie. A set of cozy slippers for the uncle who inspects every outlet at every party and then lingers by the candles. Each gift gets a little red house on top, which feels like a small reminder to keep the lights on and the kettle warm. One red house per box, and the whole tree skirt turns into a very festive neighborhood.

Poster/Canvas Care
Care Instructions: Poster
Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.
Care Instructions: Canvas
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
