Stocking With Attitude
Calvin is six and has a theory: reindeer are not real, but they are definitely out there. He has a notebook for evidence. Page one has a footprint he found in the snow, which was actually from the mailman. Page two has a sketch of a reindeer wearing sneakers. Page three is empty, which he considers the most promising page.
His mother gives him a stocking to hang by the window, and he studies it with the focus of a detective. The flannel is crisp white, covered in leaping reindeer in chocolate brown with holly leaves and berries between them, trimmed with a thick white cuff. He counts them aloud, loses count at forty, starts over and declares the whole herd accounted for. This, he says, is a very serious piece of evidence.
On Christmas Eve he sets a trap: a plate of carrots, a glass of milk and the stocking, hung exactly beneath the window. He falls asleep at the post with a flashlight in his fist. In the morning the carrots are gone, a single glittery hoofprint sits on the sill and the stocking holds a tiny brass bell that was not there before. Calvin opens his notebook to page three and writes, case closed, in very large letters. If your house has a small detective, a big fan of animals or a love of crisp white and chocolate brown, this reindeer stocking is a charmer: a double-sided print, a plush white cuff and a hanging loop on medium-weight flannel.
Mantel & Stuffing
Hang it by a window, on a staircase or over a mantel where small eyes can study it. The white flannel makes the brown reindeer look like a herd running across fresh snow, and the red berries add tiny sparks of color. The white cuff blends into the scene and gives you a soft opening for gifts. The loop slides over a hook without a fuss and the double-sided print means the herd runs on both sides. Fill it with carrots, a bell, a flashlight, a small notebook or a tiny sled. The medium weight carries a generous load and keeps its shape, which matters when the evidence collection is serious.
Gift Ideas
Hand it to your nephew who writes detective reports on the family dog. Give it to the aunt who photographs deer every morning from her kitchen window and files them by outfit. Slip it to your sister who still leaves carrots out and pretends it is for the neighbor's pony. A gift that rewards curiosity and a love of woodland creatures, with a herd of reindeer waiting to be counted again and again. Add a few carrots and a flashlight to the box, and you have a complete field kit for a very small investigator.

Poster/Canvas Care
Care Instructions: Poster
Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.
Care Instructions: Canvas
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
