Mug With Attitude

Cup one is for waking up, cup two is when the day gets started, and everything before that is a bad idea. Red and black blackletter on white reads NOTHING GOOD HAPPENS BEFORE CUP TWO, and it runs the clock on your morning with a dramatic gothic font and a very honest rule. The lettering looks like a medieval decree, which is a great way to enforce a coffee schedule. It wraps around the full ceramic, so the law is visible from every side of the table. Do not text, do not argue and do not make decisions until the second cup is empty. The mug has spoken in a font that has seen centuries of poor mornings, and it is not changing its mind.

Mug Details

Comes in 11 oz and 15 oz sizes, ready for espresso, iced tea, soup, hot chocolate, matcha, americano, chai or cappuccino. Microwave safe and dishwasher safe, it moves from the counter to the microwave to the rack without complaint. The print stays vivid on glossy white ceramic, and the handle is shaped for a comfortable, confident grip. The red blackletter looks dramatic, which suits a morning that deserves a ceremony.

  • Glossy white ceramic with a durable, shiny finish
  • Bright, crisp wraparound print
  • Available in 11 oz (0.33 L) and 15 oz (0.44 L) sizes
  • Comfortable C-shaped handle
  • Design: NOTHING GOOD HAPPENS BEFORE CUP TWO in red and black blackletter on white

Gift Ideas for Coffee Lovers

For the person who counts cups, the night nurse, and the friend whose morning starts at ten. It works for a birthday, a new job, a Secret Santa swap or a housewarming for someone who loves a strict routine. Pair it with a bag of strong coffee, and the first two cups are covered. It is also a good gift for a new parent, who is on cup four by sunrise.

Care & Safety

Nothing good happens before cup two, but a rinse after cup one is allowed.

  • Microwave and dishwasher safe
  • Lead-free and BPA-free
  • Care: Clean in the dishwasher or wash by hand with warm water and dish soap.

Poster/Canvas Care

Care Instructions: Poster

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
