Why You Need It

Shorts with a raw hem and ripped pockets, because clean edges are overrated. The black denim is washed to a smoky gray with a deep cloudy fade across each thigh and sharp creasing across the lap, and the bottom edge is cut and left to fray. The front pockets show worn tears at the corners and the back pockets have a frayed top edge. The legs fall wide and long to the knee. Throw them on with a tee and sneakers and you look like you've been to a hundred shows.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the damage. Thick whiskering fans across the front of the lap, a cloudy, sun-faded patch spreads through each thigh, and the front pocket corners are ripped and frayed with loose threads. The back pockets have a torn, raw top edge, a metal button closes the waist and the hems finish with a long, uneven fringe that keeps unraveling. The legs run wide and straight, landing just below the knee.

It comes in Jeans Blue and Black. Black is the smoky, ripped one in the lead photos, and Jeans Blue is the classic washed pick. Wear them with a boxy white tee and chunky sneakers, a cropped hoodie and high socks, or a vintage band shirt and skate shoes. Add a chain and a cap and you've got a loud, skate-park summer look.

Why It's Yours

For the guy who wants shorts that look like they've done some living. The wide cut, the raw hem and the distressed details give these a street, skater and vintage feel that works for summer days and every late night. The thick denim holds its shape, the wash hides everyday wear and the fraying only gets better. Pick your wash and wear them out. Everything is already torn up, so you don't have to worry about it.

Poster/Canvas Care

Care Instructions: Poster

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
