Why You Need It

The house has a rule, and the rule lives on the floor. NO SHOES NO DRAMA NO EXCEPTIONS stacks in three heavy lines of dark capitals, a short list that covers everything you need your guests to know before they walk in. It tells visitors to leave their boots at the door and their baggage on the porch, and it does it with a smirk. Your entryway stays cleaner, your evenings stay calmer, and the whole house gets a firm, funny boundary that nobody can pretend they didn't see. It is a doormat with house rules and a sense of humor, and it works on the first read.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the three-line rule list and the no-nonsense look. The heavy dark letters stack inside a double border on natural coir, giving it the feel of a sign from a very organized household. It reads from the sidewalk, so guests get the message before they touch the handle, and it puts the shoe rule in writing for the people who never seem to notice the pile by the door. Use it on a porch, a stoop, or a covered entry and it sets the tone for the whole visit. It is firm, funny, and impossible to argue with, which is exactly what you want from a doormat with a policy.

Why It's Yours

For the one who keeps a clean house and a calm atmosphere, and has finally run out of ways to say take your shoes off. This is for the host with a no-shoe rule that guests keep forgetting, the new homeowner who just got the carpets cleaned, and the friend who needs a housewarming gift with practical humor. Give it with a grin and let it do the talking. It is a short, bossy, funny set of house rules that makes every guest smile while they untie their laces, and it will earn its spot by the front door every time.

Poster/Canvas Care

Care Instructions: Poster

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
