Barrel-leg sweatpants in a heavy cotton with a mineral snow wash that gives the black a soft, faded charcoal tone, like a favorite pair of washed denim. The legs curve out through the thigh and back in at the ankle, the waistband is elastic with a thick white drawstring and a pair of slanted pockets sits at the front. A flat patch pocket sits on the back. Pull them on and they look like jeans and feel like sweatpants, which is a very good deal.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the wash. The mineral snow wash gives the surface a cloudy, slightly uneven tone, a worn charcoal in the photos and a lighter, dustier shade in the other colors. Washing

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Turn it inside out and wash with like colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Wash dark colors and new pieces separately the first few times.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low, or hang it to dry.
  • Take it out while it’s still slightly damp to cut down on wrinkles.
  • Don’t dry it on high heat.
  • Iron on low heat, and don’t dry clean.
