Plaid panels peek out at the sleeve ends and side hem of this loose, boxy tee, which has a round neck, a drop shoulder and short sleeves. The plaid is a soft black and white check that contrasts with the solid body. The cotton is soft with a moderate weight and the hem sits short and straight. It comes in three colors, from oat gray to black. Pull it on and you look like you are wearing a shirt under a shirt, with none of the layers.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the plaid. A check panel is set into each sleeve end and a second panel sits at each side of the hem, which gives the shirt the look of a layered flannel under a tee. Washing

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Turn it inside out and wash with like colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Wash dark colors and new pieces separately the first few times.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low, or hang it to dry.
  • Take it out while it’s still slightly damp to cut down on wrinkles.
  • Don’t dry it on high heat.
  • Iron on low heat, and don’t dry clean.

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
