Why You Need It

Plaid pants that look like a flannel shirt grew legs, in a smoky green-gray check that works with everything. Thin crossing lines in charcoal, olive and soft sage build a layered grid, the waistband is elastic and the legs fall wide and straight with a slight slouch. The cotton is thick, soft and brushed, so it feels like a warm blanket you can walk around in. A big patch pocket sits on the back. Pull them on with a tee and boots, and you've got a cozy, cabin-core fit that still looks like you tried.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the check. The plaid runs in muted bands of dark charcoal, moss green and pale gray-green, crossing in a loose, woven-looking grid that gives the fabric a soft, hazy depth. A wide elastic waistband sits at the top, slim pockets sit in the side seams and a large square patch pocket sits on the back right. The legs fall straight and wide to the floor, and the brushed surface has a gentle, flannel-like softness.

It comes in Dark Gray Plaid. Wear them with a boxy graphic tee and chunky sneakers, a thermal and boots, or an oversized hoodie and skate shoes. Add a beanie and a chain and you've got a laid-back, weekend-in-the-woods look.

Why It's Yours

For the one who treats plaid like a neutral. The muted check, the wide straight leg and the thick brushed cotton give these a casual, street and vintage feel that works from fall through early spring. They keep you warm, they hold their shape and the loose cut leaves room for layers. Slide into a pair and head out. They're the pants that make a pajama day look like an outfit. Roll up the hem, throw on a beanie and you're ready for a cold Saturday.

Poster/Canvas Care

Care Instructions: Poster

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
