Worn, faded and a little torn, this crewneck looks like it has been through years of use. The cotton has a soft snow wash that clouds the color, the edges at the cuffs and hem curl and fray and a tiny hole near the neckline shows a bit of age. The body is boxy and wide, the shoulders sit square and a kangaroo pocket sits low on the front. It comes in four colors and five sizes. Pull it on and you get a heavy, soft layer with plenty of character.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the wear. A snow wash gives the surface a cloudy, faded look, with lighter patches across the chest and shoulders and darker tones along the seams. The ribbed cuffs and hem are frayed and wavy, a small hole sits at the base of the neck and the back is faded to match the front. A kangaroo pocket sits low on the front of the boxy body. In the lead photo, the black has a smoky, washed-out glow.

Washing

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Turn it inside out and wash with like colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Wash dark colors and new pieces separately the first few times.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low, or hang it to dry.
  • Take it out while it’s still slightly damp to cut down on wrinkles.
  • Don’t dry it on high heat.
  • Iron on low heat, and don’t dry clean.

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
