Why You Need It

Faded and a little smoky, this tee has a sun-washed look that spreads across the front and back in soft, uneven patches. The shoulders drop, the sleeves are short and wide and the round neck sits flat in a firm rib. The cotton is soft with a moderate weight and the body is boxy and loose with a straight hem. It comes in four colors, from light brown to black. Pull it on and it looks like it spent a whole summer in the sun before it ever got to you.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the fade. The wash spreads in soft, cloudy patches, darker near the hem and the sleeves and lighter across the chest, so the color has real depth. The shoulders drop low, the sleeves are short and wide and the ribbed round neck sits flat. The back repeats the same sun-faded finish and ends in a straight hem.

It comes in Light Brown, Sky Blue, Dark Blue and Black. Black is the faded, smoky one in the flat photos, Sky Blue is the soft, pale one in the main photo, Dark Blue is the deep, inky one and Light Brown is the warm, earthy one. Wear it with baggy jeans and chunky sneakers, cargo pants and boots, or shorts and slides. Washing

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Turn it inside out and wash with like colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Wash dark colors and new pieces separately the first few times.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low, or hang it to dry.
  • Take it out while it’s still slightly damp to cut down on wrinkles.
  • Don’t dry it on high heat.
  • Iron on low heat, and don’t dry clean.

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
