Why You Need It

Dark across the chest and shoulders and fading to a lighter gray band at the hem, this tee has a soft gradient wash that looks like a sunset on cotton. The shoulders drop, the sleeves are short and wide and the round neck sits flat in a firm rib. The cotton is thin and soft with a loose, straight body. It comes in three colors, white, blue and black. Pull it on and the fade does the styling, with nothing printed on it at all.

Wear It Loud

We picked this one for the fade. The wash starts dark at the neck and the shoulders and softens into a pale gray band along the hem, so the color shifts from top to bottom in a smooth, cloudy blend. The shoulders drop low, the sleeves are short and wide and the ribbed round neck sits flat. The back carries a little extra texture in the wash and the same pale band at the hem.

It comes in White, Blue and Black. Black is the one in the main photo and the flat photos, with the dark top and the pale gray hem, Blue is the cool, dusty one and White is the crisp one with a soft, faded finish. Washing

  • Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle.
  • Turn it inside out and wash with like colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.
  • Wash dark colors and new pieces separately the first few times.

Drying

  • Tumble dry on low, or hang it to dry.
  • Take it out while it’s still slightly damp to cut down on wrinkles.
  • Don’t dry it on high heat.
  • Iron on low heat, and don’t dry clean.

Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades ink over time. Hang it in a dry room, away from steam and damp. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and don’t spray or wipe it with liquid. For the longest life, put it under glass in a frame. Handle it by the edges, and store it flat or rolled loosely, never creased.

Care Instructions: Canvas

Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents and damp rooms. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a dry brush. Don’t use water, sprays or cleaners on the print. Hang it on a secure wall mount, and avoid pressing on the front of the canvas. If it’s stored, keep it upright and wrapped in a clean cloth, away from anything that could dent the front.
